What stood out to me about Scott Marsh Cory was best described by his parents as having "an infectious exuberance for life...and irrepressible sense of humor and brought joy to those around him". He also was a student at the Whitman School of Management and a Junior at the time. With this information, I decided to create a loose short sleeve Jacket that reminded me of youth, freedom, and joy. The choice of Black pinstripe Italian wool on the interior represented his ties to the Whitman School of Management with professional color and print. As the red exterior represented his humor and freedom. The red overemphasized against the interior fabric, along with the shapes on the back tied together to show his joy, humor, and love for life were most emphasized in his biography. The print on the back is repeated to show his infectious exuberance for life.
