Stephen Joseph Boland was a student who loved. He genuinely loved and it showed up in how he affected the people around him. Stephen is an example for those of us who yearn for a more genuine, love-filled life. My piece of art connects Stephen’s effect on those around him with his love for the Beatles. I have created an album cover featuring Stephen sitting on the crosswalk on Abbey Road, a landmark made famous by the popular Beatles album. While Stephen may not have been as well known as the Beatles, he seemed to have been able to bring those around him the same amount of joy that the Beatles brought to him. I have created this album cover so that Stephen’s memory may inspire us to love in the same way that music can inspire us to feel.
